Only for nifty-ers Mauritius just said that the new Tax Information Exchange Treaty is ready to be signed. The agreement just helps both countries to share tax information regarding transaction of all entities doing business enroute. "A joint working group has been set up for revision of the DTAA and Mauritius has taken a number of steps within and outside the provisions of pact to address India's concerns." Tax residency certificates will be regularly reviewed.
